My name is Neil Essig and I am a graphic designer.

Ok, so there’s more to me than just design. A child of the 80′s, I have long loved things that just look good. My parents always said I was the creative one. I grew up with pencils in my hands, always drawing on something, whether it be paper, the floor, or (my poor mother) the walls. It was only natural that I become a graphic designer, the one bridge between art and the real world.

I am happily married with no children. Maybe there are some in the future, we’ll see. Aside from design, I spend most of my time on the soccer field as a player, a coach, a referee, an administrator, and as a fan. I am a huge fan of the LA Galaxy (pre-Beckham fan, to clarify), but I have no problems cheering for the home-town Real Salt Lake.

When I’m not designing or playing soccer, I’m probably dead. Maybe not, but I do like to mountain bike, play tennis, and spend time with family. I am also a big fan of food and enjoy eating whenever I get the chance. Thank to soccer, I haven’t put the pounds on yet. We’ll see what happens when I get older.
